WHAT IS A PADDLE BLIND RACK USED FOR?
Safely store, organize, and manage paddle blinds and vented paddle blinds in industrial facilities. They keep blinds sorted by size, pressure rating, and type, making them easy to identify and quickly access during maintenance, turnarounds, and shutdowns. By keeping heavy steel blinds off the ground and properly secured, paddle blind racks prevent damage and misplacement, improve job-site safety, reduce handling time, and support cleaner compliance and documentation.
Paddle blinds are available in a wide range of sizes, typically from 1/2" up to 60" or more, depending on the application. Sizing should match your pipeline's flange dimensions and pressure rating.
The choice between Series A or Series B paddle blinds is based on the flange dimensions defined by ASME B16.47. Series A paddle blinds have a larger outside diameter and greater thickness. Series B paddle blinds have a smaller outside diameter and are thinner, making them lighter and more compact.
⚠️ Important: Series A and Series B are not interchangeable.
Always check your piping specifications or flange drawings to ensure you select the correct series for your application.
